US military reveals "fatal image"

While the US corporal, Hilda Clayton, documenting her live ammunition training in Afghanistan, had a life-saving tragedy, while filming a "last moment in her life."

A 22-year-old military photographer, Clayton, began training during the summer of 2013, training the Afghan army under US supervision to launch mortars in the eastern province of Laghman.

While the soldiers fired a shell, the bomb exploded in the cannon, killing four Afghan soldiers and the US soldier who took the picture.

Nearly four years after the incident, a US military magazine published the picture on Wednesday in May's monthly issue of May.

The magazine defended the publication, saying this time the issue focuses on gender equality, and the risks faced in training and combat, as quoted by "Reuters."

Ironically, Clayton was killed in the accident, but her cameras remained peaceful and documented the last scene in her life.
