Barcelona Terrorist Attack: 13 Confirmed Dead, 50 Hurt After Van Rams Crowd; One Suspect Arrested

Barcelona police was a “massive” act of terrorism in Spain’s second-largest city. Spanish officials say at least 13 people are dead and more than 50 injured after a van traveling at 80 km an hour (50 mph) jumped a curb and drove down the middle of a crowded pedestrian walkway in the Las Ramblas district, a popular tourist area. The number of dead is expected to rise as many have suffered severe injuries, a police official said.
